We are pleased to announce the start of “Tokyo MINATO CITY International Music Competition,” where contestants will compete their ability in three sections for violin, cello, and piano, each of which is held alternatively every year, and “Workshop” for those who aspire to a career in music in Minato city, Tokyo. On this occasion, we are openly seeking volunteers to support contestants from overseas.
The details to be recruited and period are as follows:

Main Content of Volunteer Work
- Language Support: supporting contestants according to the situations from their arrival in Japan to departure for home, using English, French, German, Chinese, Korean and others
(the entire schedule)
Guiding Contestants at the airport and the hotel, providing transportation to and from the practice venue and the concert hall, and providing necessary information about life in Japan during their stay. - Practice Venue Support: in order for Contestants everyday practice, providing some place(s) with a piano/pianos (an upright piano acceptable), where they can make sounds, three hours a day within Tokyo metropolitan area
(15th October (Tue)～22th October (Tue), 2024) - Public Relations and Publicity Support: making guidebooks, publishing newsletters, making a guidance for volunteers (from June 2024)
- Hall Arrangement Support: working at the reception, managing dressing rooms, and others during the Competition (15th October (Tue)～26th October (Sat), 2024)
- Homestay Support: providing accommodation for those who finish competing before the Semi-final and the Final (20th October (Sun)～26th October (Sat), 2024)
